The present study aims to show a description of the characterization, training, and intervention carried out by educators who attend unaccompanied foreign minors in a reception center in the city of Granada, Spain. Nineteen educators were surveyed with a questionnaire and that was then analyzed using a quantitative methodology. The results obtained revealed a series of needs presented by the educators surveyed. The main need was related to specific strategies to carry out an educational intervention with migrant minors and the poor coordination and cooperation among professionals. It is concluded that it is necessary to attend to these needs through a training plan that equips educators with strategies and tools to offer an adequate socio-educational response to migrant minors in reception centers.
